43530 Impulses asks what remains of originality when any new image can be rapidly recognized, copied, and absorbed. I built a TouchDesigner system to sequence 43530 snapshots from my archives (2016~2026), flashing each onto my body at <100 ms and recording it in long exposures. I see each shutter press as a small creative act, an impulse before judgment. Images lose their status as works, dissolving into light, color, afterimages, and noise. New relations emerge. The impulse to create flows on.
《43,530 Impulses》始于一个问题：当每一种新的图像都可以被迅速识别、复制并吸收，原创性还剩下什么？此项目调用我个人档案中近十年来保存的43530张随拍照片，通过自主编写并搭建的 TouchDesigner 系统，对图像流进行程序化排序、分散与重新导向。我以每张图像停留不超过100毫秒/0.1秒的速度投影在我的身体之上，并将这个过程通过慢门拍摄的方式进行记录。我将每一次按下快门视作一次微小的创造行为，一种先于判断发生的冲动。43,530 个独立瞬间，在 高速投射下失去各自作为“作品”的权利，变成无法辨认的光、颜色、残影和噪音。图像在我的身体上流动、重叠与偏折，个体意义在其中消解，新的关系随之生成，而创作的冲动从未停歇。

A fast swipe bends the local image flow in the direction of the gesture; faster movement produces greater displacement before the flow returns to its original axis.

Palm Split｜掌心分流
A stationary palm creates a temporary obstruction, splitting the image flow around the hand before it converges again.
停留的手掌形成临时障碍，使图像流在手掌周围分叉绕行，并在手移开后重新汇合。
Temporal Compression / Stretch｜时间压缩 / 拉伸
Horizontal swipes alter the local density of the flow: a leftward swipe accelerates and stretches it, while a rightward swipe slows and compresses it.
